Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Trade Point Sale Shop, we’re committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with our quality paints and decorating supplies. Our straightforward returns policy is designed to make the process easy for our professional decorators and DIY enthusiasts.

Returns & Exchanges Timeframe

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days from the date you receive your items.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be:

  • In its original, unopened condition
  • In the original packaging
  • Undamaged and unused
  • Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase

Non-Returnable Items

For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for the following products:

  • Opened Paint Containers: Emulsion paint, Masonry paint, Exterior paint, Interior paint, Decking paint, Fence paint, Door paint, Floor paint, Furniture paint, Metal & wood paint
  • Used Decorating Tools: Brushes, rollers, dust sheets, and other decorating tools
  • Opened Chemical Products: Glues & adhesives, fillers, damp & anti-mould paint
  • Custom Mixed Paints: All bespoke colour matches including Dulux, Farrow & Ball, Hammerite, Leyland Trade, and Cuprinol custom colours

Returns & Exchanges Process

Step 1: Request Authorization

Before returning any items, you must contact us to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Step 2: Complete Return Request Form

Use the following template to submit your return or exchange request to our customer service team:

Step 3: Package Your Items

Once you receive your RMA number:

  • Pack the items securely in their original packaging
  • Include the original receipt or packing slip
  • Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package

Return Shipping Costs

Customer Responsibility: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to our error or defective products.

Recommended Shipping: We recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service. We are not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit.

Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to your original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, JCB – refunded to your card

Please note that international transaction fees are non-refundable.

Exchanges

For exchanges:

  • We will ship the replacement item once we receive and process your return
  • Standard shipping charges apply for exchange shipments
  • If the exchange item costs more, you will need to pay the difference
  • If the exchange item costs less, we will refund the difference

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive damaged or defective items:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide photos of the damaged items and packaging
  • We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you
